Ginevrine Italgum candies are the classic sugar candies that we have all eaten at least once in our lives, they are also called zuccherini, sugar candies or sugar drops.
Their shape is unmistakable, a small disc of compressed, coloured and flavoured sugar with a diameter of half a centimetre (0.5 cm), in various fruit-flavoured colours.
Their consistency is quite hard, but they melt very easily in the mouth on contact with saliva, releasing a sweet delicate fruit flavour.
